01 Overview
Thank you for shopping with Maverick Tactical US. We stand behind the quality of our tactical defense solutions. However, due to the specialized nature of our products—including less-lethal launchers and specialty counter-drone munitions—our return policy is designed to ensure customer safety, product integrity, and regulatory compliance.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy.
02 Return Window
- Standard Returns (change of mind or buyer’s remorse): You must request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) within 14 calendar days of the delivery date (as shown on the carrier tracking).
- Damaged, Defective, or DOA Items: You must notify us within 48–72 hours of delivery with clear photos and/or video evidence.
Returns requested after these windows will not be accepted.
03 Eligibility Requirements for Standard Returns
To qualify for a return, all of the following must be true:
- The item(s) must be brand new, completely unused, and in original factory-sealed packaging.
- All original accessories, manuals, tags, components, and packaging materials must be included and in pristine condition.
- There must be no signs of use, test-firing, modification, wear, damage, or tampering.
- You must provide your original order number or proof of purchase.
04 Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items
Important Notice
The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstances (including change of mind).
- Any item that has been opened, used, test-fired, or had its factory seal broken.
- All ammunition, projectiles, rounds, kinetic/chemical loads, training projectiles, and consumables (including Byrna .61/.68 cal rounds of any type and CO2 cartridges).
- Skynet Drone Defense rounds (all calibers, pack sizes, and material variants — lead, zinc, tungsten, etc.). These are specialty munitions.
- Custom, special-order, or made-to-order products.
- Sale, clearance, open-box, or heavily discounted items (unless explicitly stated otherwise at time of purchase).
- Items missing original packaging, tags, or components.
- Items showing any evidence of use or tampering.
Strict Non-Returnable Policy
Ammunition, projectiles, rounds, kinetic/chemical loads, training projectiles, CO2 cartridges, and all Skynet Drone Defense products are strictly non-returnable except in cases of verified manufacturer defect or damage in transit (see Section 8). Opened or used items in these categories will not be accepted for return under any circumstances.
05 Restocking Fee
Approved standard returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee calculated on the pre-tax subtotal of the returned item(s). This covers inspection, repackaging, restocking, and administrative costs.
06 Return Shipping
- You are responsible for all return shipping costs, including tracking and insurance.
- We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method. Maverick Tactical US is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged returns in transit.
- Return shipping instructions and the authorized return address will be provided only after RMA approval.
07 How to Request a Return (Mandatory RMA Process)
- Email sales@mavericktactical.us with the subject line: “RMA Request – Order # [Your Order Number]”.
- Include: Order number, item(s) you wish to return, detailed reason, and clear photos of the item(s) in their current condition plus the original packaging.
- Wait for our approval email containing your RMA number and return instructions (usually within 1–3 business days).
- Ship the item(s) to the address provided, with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the package.
08 Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items (DOA / Shipping Damage)
- Contact us immediately (within 48–72 hours of delivery) via email with photos/video of the damage and packaging.
- We may provide a prepaid return label or arrange a replacement/exchange at our sole discretion.
- Verified defective-on-arrival (DOA) or shipping-damaged items will be eligible for a full refund or replacement after inspection.
- We reserve the right to require return of the defective item before issuing a replacement or refund.
09 Refund Processing
- We will inspect your return within 3–7 business days of receipt.
- You will be notified via email whether the return is approved or denied.
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.
- Credit/debit card refunds may take additional time depending on your financial institution.
- Store credit is available as a faster alternative and may include a bonus for future purchases (at our discretion).
10 Exchanges
Exchanges are processed as a return followed by a new purchase. They are subject to product availability and the same eligibility requirements, restocking fees, and shipping responsibilities as standard returns. Contact us to arrange an exchange.
11 Manufacturer Warranty
This Return Policy is separate from any manufacturer warranty (e.g., Byrna limited warranty). For warranty claims on defects discovered after the return window, please contact us or the manufacturer directly.
12 Legal Terms & Limitations
- This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Scott County or Hennepin County, Minnesota.
- We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not strictly meet these criteria or that we reasonably suspect has been used, modified, or tampered with.
- Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the item(s) returned. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.
- Customers are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding the purchase, possession, transport, and use of less-lethal devices and specialty munitions.
